A counselling practice based in Fourways Johannessburg led by Patience Mogakane, MSc Clinical Health Psychology (Lithuania).

I’m a listed Specialist Counsellor, deep listener, and firm believer in people’s capacity for growth and healing. I provide a safe, supportive space to explore life’s challenges and reconnect with your inner strengths.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

With a focus on warmth, trust, and professionalism, I’m here to help you build resilience, find clarity, and improve your overall emotional wellbeing. Whether you’re seeking personal growth or navigating a difficult time, you don’t have to do it alone.

Grief Counselling

Grief counselling provides a compassionate space to process loss at your own pace. It supports you in understanding complex emotions, adjusting to life changes, and finding ways to honour your loss while gently rebuilding meaning, stability, and emotional strength.

Crisis Counselling

Crisis counselling offers immediate, supportive care during times of emotional distress or overwhelming life events. It focuses on stabilisation, safety, and practical coping strategies, helping you navigate the crisis, regain a sense of control, and identify ongoing support for recovery.

Self-Esteem Counselling

Burnout Counselling

  • Individual Counselling Session (60 minutes): R550
  • Student / Reduced Rate (limited slots): R350
